This area of our business has expanded considerably over the past decade mainly from repeat business. We draw on expertise from other members of the practice team as required. Both Peter and Paddy have considerable experience within this area and have commercial acumen and overseas experience. The practice has carries out work for most of the global pharmaceutical companies and many of the agri-businesses and some dairy companies.

Services include:

·         Investigation of herd problems for mastitis, high cell count, fertility, nutrition, calf health, lameness and poor productive performance.

·         Advice on product development, marketing, product launches, brainstorming and troubleshooting for veterinary pharmaceutical companies

·         Milk quality enhancement programmes for dairy companies.

·         Training Seminars for veterinary surgeons, technical and sales staff, and farmers. Tailored to your requirements.

·         Medicine trial work ~ The practice has considerable experience running medicine trial work to VICH Good Clinical Practice. Our practice base of 22,000 cows provides a source of material for trial work. Six  of our veterinarians who have acted as medicine trial investigators. Help with drawing up trial protocols so that trials achieve their goals. Over 40 of our 140 dairy herds have been involved in medicine trial work.

·         Writing technical articles for veterinary and farming press

·         Mastitis Control & Quality Milk production Seminar for veterinarians.

·         Practical nutrition Course for vets run in conjunction with the Royal Veterinary College
