Emma Neal - Head Veterinary Nurse, Client Care
By

Emma trained in London and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 1986. She spent 3 years working in a small animal hospital in Hertfordshire.
Following a career break to have her daughter Lilly, she joined the practice in 1992, as our first qualified veterinary nurse.
She quickly made her mark in Shepton Mallet and now proudly heads a team of six qualified and student veterinary nurses.
Her particular interest is companion animal behaviour, in which she gained her BVNA certificate in 1999.
Her “soap box issue” is animal husbandry! The rabbit is a pet, which Emma passionately believes is very misunderstood.
Emma loves walking, cycling and horse riding in the Somerset countryside and enjoys a near perfect work/home balance of her career and being mum to her son Samuel, a dog, a cat, a horse and some fish!
